Eric Preston Hall Sr., grandson of Homer Hall, has been part of Dixie Pig Bar-Be-Que since birth in 1954. Raised more as a son than a grandson, Eric grew up immersed in the barbecue world. He witnessed firsthand how Homer Hall, the founder of Dixie Pig Bar-Be-Que, perfected the art of Southern-style cooking. From the early 1950s through the 1960s, Homer raised his pigs, cows, and chickens, ensuring the highest quality ingredients for his barbecue.
Carrying on the Legacy
Eric Hall learned the craft of barbecue at an early age, mastering the techniques and traditions passed down by Homer Hall, known by many as the Bar-Be-Que King. With deep respect for his grandfather’s work, Eric continues to preserve the authentic flavors and cooking methods that made Dixie Pig Bar-Be-Que famous.
